Adopt-A-Family

ECCO’s 18th annual Adopt-A-Family program is LIVE!

Each year, with community support, the Adopt-A-Family program helps brighten the holiday season for more than 400 children living in the East Cooper communities. Generous donors sign up to adopt a local family and purchase items from their wish list. With ECCO’s help, those gifts are given to local families for children to open on Christmas morning.

In 2024, our Adopt-A-Family program reached 186 local families, with 476 children living in those homes!

To adopt your family, click on the bright blue button below. Once you sign up and select your family, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your family’s complete wish list. Then, you can begin shopping and spreading holiday cheer!

Once you’ve shopped, gifts can be dropped off at ECCO’s Santa’s Closet – our little winter wonderland where the gifts are stored, sorted, and picked up by the adopted families, along with wrapping paper and stocking stuffers.

The drop-off location will be open from December 2 to December 11. Please be on the lookout for more details about the Mount Pleasant location.
