Daniel Island Flood Support

With Appreciation to the Community

Several companies, individuals, and other groups have already contributed to ECCO’s disaster relief efforts by donating goods and supplies. On October 7th, the Daniel Island Community Fund and Rotary Club of Daniel Island demonstrated their support with a combined gift of $5,000 that will be used to help flood victims in the Cainhoy Peninsula area. Over the last week, ECCO has also received food and clothing donations from the Daniel Island Academy, women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories from the Charleston Style Exchange, towels and sheets from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston Airport, and a truck full of cleaning supplies, diapers, and paper towels from Target.

Additional collection efforts are being organized and coordinated by the Mount Pleasant Towne Center, the Church at LifePark, the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, and Lily Rain.
