How We Help

Each year, ECCO provides help to hundreds of individuals facing unforeseen hardships through our Financial Assistance program. Whether you are facing an illness, are vulnerable to losing your home, are unemployed, or are simply unable to make ends meet, we are here to provide guidance and resources when you need emergency financial assistance.

As of March 1, 2023, the Financial Assistance application will only be open from the 1st through the 10th of each month. If the first day of the month falls on a weekend or ECCO holiday, the application will open the next business day. If financial requests exceed the monthly program allocation before the 10th, the application will close early. 

Assistance is available to current ECCO clients living or working in our 10 zip code service area. Clients may be eligible to receive assistance with:

  • Utility bills (electric, water, gas)
  • Monthly rent payment
  • Mortgage payment
