New Clients FAQ
  • Walk-in hours are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10am to 3pm
  • Please bring the following items for anyone who will be receiving services:
    • South Carolina ID (for every household member over the age of 18)
    • Social Security cards (for everyone in the household)
    • Proof of income (for all household members over 18 years old):
      • Pay stub for the last 30 days (if working)
      • Verification of pension amount (if receiving it)
      • Proof of child support (if receiving it)
      • 2015 Government Statement of Benefits Letter (SS, SSI, SSDI, TANF, SNAP) if receiving
      • Proof of Application for Disability(if disabled)
      • Proof of educational status for full-time student (if over eighteen and not working)
      • If an individual is unemployed, you must have a Benefit History Statement from the Department of Employment and Workforce: or call (803) 737-2400 or 1-866-831-1724. *Individuals  must apply for unemployment benefits to obtain this paperwork
    • Proof of Residence (one of the following)
      • Utility Bill (Water or Electric)
      • Rental Agreement/Mortgage
      • Statement or letter from landlord
